Contribute to the evolving conversation on the challenges of power disparities in high-performance workplaces. Learn from peers about maintaining a safe and respectful court culture and managing the interpersonal aspect of the judicial role.
This workshop invites you to join the discussion about preventing sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviours in and out of court. Language, actions and information about perspectives within the Victorian courts and VCAT will feature in a conversational learning environment.
These sessions are cross-jurisdictional but tailored to reflect the experiences of each jurisdiction; they include panel discussions with judicial officers and scenario-based conversations.
You will:
- participate in discussions on the expectations of a judicial officer when responding to both perpetrators and complainants of sexual harassment and bullying
- learn how to promote a culture where sexual harassment, bullying and other inappropriate behaviours are prevented.
This program is for new appointees and those who have not yet undertaken this training.
Note: This program is open to judicial officers only.
