The College warmly congratulates Judicial Registrars Angela Rankin, Jarrod Van Arkadie, and Kimberley Ison on their appointments to the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
Judicial Registrar Rankin brings extensive legal experience from senior roles at the Office of Public Prosecutions, including as Executive Director Legal Practice. Judicial Registrar Van Arkadie has a strong background in public defense and legal strategy from his time at Victoria Legal Aid (VLA), where he served as a Public Defender and later as Associate Director of VLA Chambers. Judicial Registrar Ison has held significant leadership roles at VLA, including as Associate Director of Grants & Quality Assurance, and contributed to developing the First Nations Cultural Capability Framework.
