The College has released a new edition of the Serious Injury Manual, developed under the guidance of Judge Purcell and Judge Magee.
Drawing on 10 years of experience with the Manual, this revised edition provides updated guidance on the Serious Injury Application process and common law damages trials.
The Manual has been streamlined and reorganised to better support judges in navigating the most frequently contested issues in leave applications. It includes clearly structured sections addressing common and other issues in serious injury applications, as well as key considerations for serious injury trials.
