The College congratulates Justice Susan Kenny AM on her appointment as a Reserve Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, effective from 16 July 2024.
Justice Susan Kenny was appointed to the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1997, becoming its first woman judge. She has served as a judge of the Federal Court of Australia since October 1998 and has been actively involved in judicial education. Her career highlights include roles as a Presidential Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and significant contributions to law reform through the Australian Law Reform Commission. Justice Kenny is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and has authored numerous articles on constitutional, administrative, and taxation law.
