Join Melbourne Law School for the annual Flos Greig Lecture, featuring the Hon Linda Dessau AC CVO, former Governor of Victoria. In her lecture titled "If I had my time over, would I study law?", Ms Dessau will share reflections on her legal career and the impact of her choices.
This event honours Grata Flos Matilda Greig, the first woman admitted to legal practice in Australia, and celebrates her legacy in advancing gender equality in the legal profession.
The event will take place on Thursday, 22 August 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodward Conference Centre, Law Building (106). Attendance is free.
