The College warmly congratulates Kerri Judd KC on her appointment as a Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, effective 17 September 2024.
In 2018, her Honour became the first woman to be appointed Victorian Director of Public Prosecutions, following 17 years at the bar and two years as Crown Prosecutor.
Justice Judd took silk in 2007 and has contributed to several significant inquiries, including the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission.
Her Honour will initially serve as a judge of the Common Law Division.
